This is your invite to the Canterbury qualifier round – part of a global event that you don’t want to miss. \nThis year the goal is to create an even larger impact than ever before with a new generation of students. The idea is simple and ingenious: “Make a plain sheet of paper fly as far\, as long\, or as acrobatically through the air as possible!” \nAll national winners of the three categories – Longest Distance\, Longest Airtime\, and Aerobatics – will be invited to the World Final in Austria in the iconic Hangar-7\, where the world champions will be crowned.

Please make sure that the tickets are nonrefundable. \nDESCRIPTION BELOW \nDramaSoc is proud to present its first major show of the year ‘Quiche and Whiskey: A Night of One Acts’. This delightful evening of comedy features two off-Broadway shows: 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche\, by Evan Linder and Andrew Hobgood\, as well as The Irish Curse\, by Martin Casella. \n5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche is an interactive absurdist comedy. The year is 1956\, and the Sisters of the Susan B. Anthony Society of for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are eagerly anticipating their annual quiche breakfast. But when the communists invade America these daring women realise they may be the last humans alive in America. This show will leave you in tears of both joy and sadness and invites the audience into the wondrously silly world of a 50s high class ladies’ society.  \nThe Irish Curse brings the audience into this wonderful modern comedy with one central premise\, ‘how do I measure up to the next guy?’ It centers on a support group for men who struggle with their “Irish Curse”: that is\, being less than average in the groin department. The stories each of the men tell are stunningly graphic\, as well as heartfelt and touching\, insight into the male psychology. It attempts to answer the question\, once and for all\, “does size really matter?” \nQuiche and Whiskey is performed by 10 very talented actors over 8 nights in the Jack Mann Auditorium

We’ll be providing food\, a nice warm bed and 59 other fanatics ready to tear the roof off. Case studies will be running all weekend\, teaching you how to seduce the mountain manager\, the ideal amount of people in a single shower (17) and a complete guide on how to treat a hangover with eggs and Kahlua. \nAt $25 this event is literally more cost effective than staying in Christchurch.
