DESCRIPTION:MONO Nights are our weekly gig nights\, hosted in the Foundry every Thursday during term time. \nFree for UC students (hell\, it is their bar ffs) and with a minimal door charge for their mates – which goes straight into our giant profit making machine… \nJokes – it pays for some of the best local and international acts that we can afford and convince to stop off on a Thursday night. Last year’s artists can be seen  and the most up to date info on who is playing next can be found at the @MONOnights facebook page. \nBring your proof of age ID and UC Student card to skip the door fee – no card means no freebies. UC Security is open pretty much 24/7 so if you lost it\, go get another one you cheapskate.

This is your invite to come along for a BBQ and a chat. \nThe travelling non-partisan event was launched in South Auckland at the end of last year\, and aims to encourage student engagement. They’re out to prove that you don’t need to live in Wellington to get involved with Parliament – there are loads of ways to have your say. \nFriday’s event will be hosted by the UC Pols club\, a non-partisan political group here on campus. They’ll be joined by Mr Speaker and MPs David Carter\, David Seymour\, Matt Doocey and Jan Logie. \nSo if you’re keen for a chat and a free bite to eat\, we’ll see you at Parly to the People. \n\nWhen: Friday 15 March\, 1.00pm–2.30pm\nWhere: C Block Lawn\, UC. If it’s a wet day\, the event will be moved to the Undercroft Common Area.
