Canterbury’s finest jibbers and jibberets will be battling it out in the one of a kind ski and snowboard RAIL JAM. \n  \nAs always this is followed by the annual stinker of an AFTER PARTY featuring Dan Aux from the GeorgeFM drive show\, Dunnerz very own DISLOCATE and headlined by a LEGEND of the NZ music scene and lead singer of Shapeshifter\, P DIGSSS !!! \n  \nThis is the event where dreams will come true and heroes are made. TONNES of snow will be trucked down from Mt Hutt and joyfully dumped onto a fresh setup. The scaffolding will be BIGGER than ever and so will the tricks. Don’t tell your mum\, this stuff will put her in a coma. \n  \nThe theme is\, as tradition\, RETRO SKI\, very flattering. \n  \nSet date is 24th of July. SUMMARY:Winter Wellness Expo
DESCRIPTION:The Winter Wellness Expo is a free\, all ages\, alcohol-free event for all UC students.  It is brought to you by UCSA Help (Advocacy & Welfare) team\, and will be held on 25th July (Thursday) in Haere-Roa\, from 10am – 2pm. \nThere will be stalls offering free second-hand stuff (e.g.\, clothes\, shoes\, household items etc.)\, free brand new beanies\, scarves\, toothpastes\, toothbrushes and dental floss (limited quantity)\, as well as free hot drinks and cakes.  Other stalls include Tenancy Protection Association\, Christchurch Budget Service and Community Energy Action’s curtain bank! \nThe NZ Police will be there to label phones\, laptops etc. with UV markers\, and give students tips on how to prevent burglaries.  NZ Fire Service will also be there to give students information on fire safety. \nThere will also be a sewing/mending station.  So find those pieces of garments that need mending and bring them all down to Haere-Roa during Winter Wellness Expo. \nNote: Please bring some bags to pack the goodies in. \nAlso note: If you are wanting your garments mended\, please don’t come too late in the day as some can take a little while to repair.
