DESCRIPTION:Have you recently begun work on your research project? The Academic Skills Centre and the Postgraduate Students’ Association would like to invite you to a get-together for early stage Master’s and doctoral research students. This “Kick-start your research” workshop will be held on Tuesday 9 March from 2 – 3 p.m. in The Living Room (next to the University Book Store). \nSpeakers will offer support and top tips and will answer questions you may have relating to your research.  Speakers include the Dean of Postgraduate Research\, representatives from the Postgraduate Students’ Association\, the UC Library and the Academic Skills Centre. \nThe Postgraduate Students’ Association will provide refreshments. \nWe hope you can make it. This dynamic show will go straight to your head! \nReefer Madness is a highly stylized and satirical political commentary. It involves mature themes including drug use\, sex\, rape\, and violence. SUMMARY:UC Frenchsoc: Taste of New Caledonia
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, UC French Society will be collaborating with Alliance Française Christchurch to host two cooking workshops featuring New Caledonian cuisine\, in which French chef Melanie Oudet will demonstrate how to prepare and serve a three-course meal of authentic New Caledonian fare. Tasting portions of the prepared dishes will be served at the end of each demonstration\, so bring your appetites!
