CathSoc’s mission is to provide a social environment for Catholics and those open to Catholicism and to cultivate and expand the catholic comunity on campus. We want to provide an authentic and homely environment for all new and current university students. In CathSoc there is something for everyone wether that be a chess tournament, or a tramping trip. In addition to all the social events we run throughout the year, each term we set a specific corporal and spiritual work of mercy that we focus on to put our faith into action and help out our community. CathSoc’s base is at Kolbe House (5 Rountree St) and we provide free lunches every week as well as offering all the faith formation, discussions and prayer groups you need to boost you own faith journey to get you through your degree.
