The Education Society – Matauranga Porihanga (Edsoc) is a social and academic club aimed at any and every student that studies some form of teaching or education. Social events we enjoy holding include BBQ’s, quiz/game nights, and the end of year ball. Academic events can include Q&A’s, pre-placement panels, mentoring and further professional development. Our aim is to make students feel prepared and supported in their degree, and this includes enjoying it!
