The University of Canterbury Global Society (UCGS) aims to make each Students’ journey a memorial one through our events. UCGS is a club comprised of people from all sorts of backgrounds, ethnicity, race, and gender.
Our main objective for the year is to embrace and promote the different cultures that make up the UC student body. We understand all the challenges of being away from home, so the club hopes to provide a society set on celebrating and promoting your uniqueness.
The events we will be hosting and co-hosting throughout the year target all our University Students. These events are spaces created for people to make meaningful connections or a space to escape from the stresses that come with being a student. Most of our events are free of charge since we believe that having people together is more important.
