Pirapus, also known as George Murray and Ben Hollamby (aka Tex), is a stadium drum and bass duo from Christchurch, New Zealand. George and Tex’s musical backgrounds range from hip-hop to classical music, but it was their obsession with drum and bass which brought them together during university. Now, Pirapus’ various musical influences translate to their diverse catalogue of dnb music, making their DJ sets entertaining and loaded with energy.

Their production has gained praise both nationally and globally from Netsky, Koven, Lee Mvtthews and The Upbeats to name a few. With more summer releases and another run of New Zealand’s biggest festivals on the way. It’s safe to say Pirapus are only just beginning their exciting journey in the world of drum and bass.

PORIS has quickly created a name as a highly skilled DJ, and as someone you need to pay attention to. After bursting onto the scene in early 2020, PORIS (real name Paris) has toured nearly non-stop since. She has already graced the stages of Rhythm and Vines, Bay Dreams, Northern Bass, and the majority of the most notorious venues around New Zealand. She has also played support to some of the biggest names in DnB including, Kanine, Netsky, Alix Perez, Hybrid Minds, Andy C and A.M.C. PORIS shows her passion for drum & bass by throwing down energetic sets and flooring audiences in any and every setting.

Florence Ferguson, also known as Foxtrot, had a stellar breakout in 2021. Pōneke-born and Ōtautahi-based, Foxtrot began spinning some tunes as host of RDU 98.5FM’s Lost Sundays, before quickly gaining traction among the hard hitters of the underground ’03 scene.

A big lover of old-school trance, breakbeat, and electro, the genre-bending DJ has secured slots alongside some of Ōtautahi’s finest local talent; Keepsakes, Texture, Liam K Swiggs, & Ultraviolet. Drawing influence from fun-loving techno DJs such as Anetha & VTSS, there really isn’t anything Foxtrot would shy away from.

Bethan Madoc aka Button B is a new, upcoming Wāhine dj to join the Christchurch scene. She first started mixing during the level 4 lockdown last year and has since played at multiple gigs around the Lower south island and more recently supported Artificial Intelligence for their show at Hide.

Punching drums and flowing basslines is what you can expect to hear when she steps on the decks, and keeps the vibe interesting as she delves into the different sub-genres of Drum and Bass.

Being influenced by artists such as Skeptical, Amoss and Kyrist, her playlist of quality music is ready for your ears to satisfy!
