DESCRIPTION:Want to win a share of $400? Come participate in the Arts Fest Photography Competition!\n\n\nThe theme for this competition is urban/street photography\, which is up to your own interpretation! Some examples can be seen on our poster.\n\n\nIf you want to learn more skills before taking your photos\, attend our Phone Pics 101 workshop on May 17th\, or our competition workshop on May 23rd (more information on our Facebook page).\n\n\nThe fine print:\nYou can enter one time per category\, the categories are photos taken by phone\, and photos taken by a camera.\nPhotos must be submitted by noon\, May 25th.\nSubmissions can be made by sending photos to our social media pages\, or by emailing photos to photographyclubuc@gmail.com. Photos may be used on our social media pages.\nEntrants must be current UC students.\nPrizegiving will be on May 27th\, with a selection of entrants invited to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Te Whare Tū Taua is a group who practice in ‘The Ancient Art of Māori Weaponry’\, more commonly known as Māori Martial Arts. \n  \nMau Rākau incorporates physical fitness and wellbeing in a Māori approach which also includes Māori history\, Māori Atua\, whakapapa\, leadership skills\, and stories. \n  \nThe sessions are open to all people and we encourage others who are not normally involved with anything Māori related to join and experience a bit of Māori culture.
