2020 UCSA election dates

This year, the UCSA election will be held in term 3 with voting taking place from 12-14 August. Nominations will open at the UCSA’s Half-AGM on 22 July.

If you haven’t experienced an election cycle yet, you’re in for an experience. The election is UC students’ chance to vote for who sits on our governing body,* and the campaigns are a pretty big deal, with candidates promoting their policies online and around campus. We also hold a debate between the presidential candidates, and the event always gets a good crowd.

All UC students are encouraged to get out and vote – you get your say on student life, and democracy wins!

*The President also sits on University Council – the governing body of UC.
