Tunesoc on Battle of the Bands and Jam Nights

UC’s known for its epic clubs culture, and this week we talk to one of their best known art groups, Tunesoc.

A mainstay at UC events, the club was formed back in 2016 as a way for students to get together and enjoy music, either as performers or enthusiasts. As well as doing their own gigs, they’re keen to foster talent through comps’, and they even host a radio slot on RDU 98.5FM.

Team, how would you describe your club to newbies?

Tunesoc: We’re all about the love for music: whether it’s playing, listening, or enjoying!

What do you offer students?

Tunesoc: An opportunity to get amongst the vibrant UC music scene, as a spectator or a musician!

What events do you run?

Tunesoc: We run all sorts of events, from gigs to jam nights, parties and, of course, our famous Battle of the Bands.
